Merrill Black LCSW wanted a website designed around two main themes: butterflies and healing. She wanted a background that transitioned from gold to yellow to orange, and also added a little animation (the butterflies flap their wings if you hover). Her cognitive behavioral therapy practice includes Reiki and Hypnosis, and thus her website emphasizes her philosophy of "treating the whole person, mind, body and soul." Read Merrill's testimonial.

He wanted an online store that would accept PayPal, and could offer different payment options as well as different watch bezel options. This ecommerce website is accepting preorders only, but will expand to a full online store by mid 2008.

Richard hired me to completely redesign his website. He vastly expanded his content to include his blog, videos, pictures, books, magazine articles...and tons of poker and gambling advice. Richard wanted his new website to have the look and feel of gambling, and specifically selected an incredible aerial image of Las Vegas at night for his page background.

They needed a small, five page website that was "sophisticated, warm but not mushy" and that had "french blue and red" but "not a lot of colors". They were also in a hurry and had their content ready, and as a result, this website was completed in 12 days!

On This Day Designs is a group of sisters who started a handmade Catholic jewelry business that outgrew their existing PayPal Shopping Cart. They needed an online store with stock management. All of the artwork for this website was done by one of the sisters, who is a graphic designer. This online store is an excellent example of how nicely the ECT shopping cart can be used to develop an online store within a pre-existing design concept. Read their testimonial.

Dental & Denture hired Aldebaran Web Design to redesign their website in order to free themselves from expensive and worthless monthly pay-per-click traffic costs. Their redesign was mostly architectural, as the original graphic design was reused. The website was in desperate need of reorganization, high quality code, and Google-approved keyword targeting techniques in order to capture more organic (free) search engine traffic.

The folks at 500 Realty Inc wanted a website that could guide customers through the complicated process of buying or selling real estate and make it look easy. They wanted each section of the website to have a similar navigational layout, with a different color scheme.

500 Realty also needed to be integrated with the MLS Property Search and have an eCommerce section to accept payments.

Dorian wanted a website that was sexy, had sizzle, showcased his work, but didn't impose a particular design style upon his prospective clients. The home page was given "sizzle" by creating an animated GIF collage-puzzle effect that entices visitors to view Dorian's impressive portfolio. This website has Javascript and DHTML as well as a dramatic, but fast-loading animation on the home page.

This website had been started by another designer who was unable to bring it to completion. The website needed to have all pages overhauled, a navigation structure created, eCommerce implemented, several registration forms, and a blog set up.

The site owner, Jim wanted to be able to add content on his own , so a content management system was implemented. In addition Jim wanted the home page to have some animation and movement, which was accomplished using animated GIFs..
